Osmans Tochter in Berlin

We chose a delivery for my husband's 83rd birthday. The food is fantastic and the contact is extremely friendly and warm. We have seldom eaten with such enthusiasm. We will definitely use your great shop again and warmly recommend you to friends and acquaintances! Thanks again for all the help and the birthday bonus for my sick husband!

I went to see Osman's daughters with a friend. Great, tasty dishes, absolutely recommendable.

Great! I had ordered 6 mezes for myself and a few friends. Add the delicious flatbread and the evening was. Perfect. I found the sea bass, the hot paprika paste and the beans particularly tasty. But in general everything was bomb. Also a great gift idea! Gladly again ! can only be recommended 😊

Okay, food basically tasty but priced in my opinion not justified (even for the Perg) ... But let's get to the 1-star rating: There's no contact follow-up at this place and the tables are so cramped that it's every superspreader's dream ... It's a shame that some restaurants only implement the rules to a limited extent and that they all end up being punished ...

The waitress was very impolite and gave us attitude. They still don’t take credit card (2020 and Covid times and still don’t!) and she expected me to have my wallet full of cash specially for her tip. When you’re short of money you try to tip better next time but this time won’t be next time.

Super delicious food, my friend as an omnivore and I as a vegan were very enthusiastic! Also very nice and fast service :)

Osman's Töchter was not only a delicious but also a surprising dinner experience for me. As a Turkish person who has grown up with eating local food, I could never think that one of the best Turkish food that I ate in my life would be at a restaurant in Germany. Personal favorites are the "mantı" and definitely the "octopus". Missing their Turkish food even from Turkey!

Tasty food. But 'cash only' in a restaurant in 2020? That's just lazy & poor service.

Very original, very tasty, great selection! The shop is also very appealing and cozy, the people pleasant and friendly ... The service could be a tad more attentive, we waited quite a long time for a second round of drinks and overall the prices are a bit too high for the little tapas "...

The food tastes good and overall experience is fine. But they forgot about our order for about an hour and then confused us with their excuse options. I don't recommend their Gewurztraminer wine, it's too simple for the price tag. Otherwise it's a typical P'berg place with upscale turkish cuisine.

DANGER! Comments will be deleted! We were in Berlin about 3 weeks ago and immediately wrote a review after our visit to Osman's daughters. Everything went wrong here that can go wrong at all. I'm sorry . Hygiene guidelines partly not observed. The food was delicious, but it came way too late. The table was only partially cleared, we even had to put the dirty dishes on the floor! The lamb chops were less than 300 g as described and we had to complain. Price - performance is not possible! So much for that!

Really delicious and unusual dishes! In addition, a nicely furnished shop, you sit nicely inside and outside and the service is nice. Still far too expensive for what was on offer and it took a tick too long for the food to arrive. Given these prices, it is also extremely surprising that card payments are not possible, which is also pointed out on the phone and at the beginning of the meal

The food was very tasty, but the price / performance ratio was still not right. The portions are tapas-sized, but cost the same as main courses in other restaurants (€ 7-16). Depending on how hungry you are, you should plan with 2 to 3 dishes per person.

Hands down the best Turkish I’ve ever had. Incredible food with a light touch, sweet attentive service, chill stylish interior. A+

On recommendation we visited this restaurant yesterday. Here we were seated at a table that wobbled and was not cleaned. We also waited a long time for our food. The waitress didn't really clear the table in general, because we even had to put some of our dishes on the floor ... Price / performance was not at all right .. Conclusion: bring a lot of money and be patient. The food was still delicious!

Wow!

At first i was surprised by the prices, however the food was super delicious 😋 Every dish we ordered was fresh and tasty. The drinks were also good. The dessert as well. We ordered Hummus, Aubergine, Weineplatter, isli kufte and osmann kebab. We will visit again soon.

Was with my wife last weekend in Berlin and with Osman's daughters. Great, delicious dishes, small portions at a low price, so that you can put together many variations. Absolutely recommendable!

Amazing mezze, service and atmosphere. Super cozy, nice vine choices and cocktails - a lot of veggie options!

As someone who is very familiar to Istanbuls Meze/Raki-Culture and Prenzlauer Berg restaurant scene I tried this place for the first time yesterday. The food: As a five piece group we tried many different mezes. Some were quite good, ie. hummus with truffle oil or the prawns with pastrami, stuffed wine leaves. Then again some were very mediocre, especially the grilled sea bass(Wolfsbarsch). The very sparse portion came unfortunately cold with a side of so-so tasting sweet potato puree. The lamb shish kebap we ordered had more inedible fat than meat and the lamb chops barely had meat on them, so it was impossible to share as it is praised by the restaurant that sharing is their concept. At a price of 16,90 a plate for these guys, we expected that at least most of us will get a little piece of the pie. :) The service: In the beginning very friendly, a little chaotic, but friendy. Later, when we didn't like one dish and sent it back, another waiter(or restaurant manager?) came to ask "what's going on". But like literally. Then we got educated by him about the anatomy of lamb. When we thanked for the lesson and said it is not the first time we are having lamb shish kebap, there was still no real understanding for the customer, not to mention a complimentary coffee or a dessert or something which must be usually the case in a restaurant with a good service understanding. He left us with a very awkward and negative energy instead. This is what you get if you expect "too much". No expectations no dissapointments they say, right? ;) In a nutshell: We unanimously agreed not to come again. We came hungry and we left (still sort of) hungry but feeling awkward, especially after the grand finale.

Excellent food and service. The food came punctually and tasted great (especially the Aubergine). Our waitress Jana took great care of us and made sure all our needs were met! Great place to bring friends and family but make sure to make a reservation as the place is very busy!!

Unfortunately, neither the price-performance ratio nor the service fits here. We were guests in May and had reserved a table for two. We were seated at a table that was neither set nor clean. The table was clearly smeared with tomato sauce and the service staff didn't even notice it. Then we ordered sparkling water, wine, two starters and two main courses. The water was brought in a glass bottle from the shop, where you could just barely see the logo because it was already worn out. Then came my starter and main course at the same time and my husband got his starter and main course at the same time, but 15 minutes after me. This is not how you imagine a dinner together! The starters didn't taste like anything. The main courses were fine. The service was unfortunately not good at all. In the end we had a bill of 80 € for food and service like in a snack bar. Really a shame that you are so careless in so many things.

My previous experience in Osmans Töchter was much much better 2 years ago. Unfortunately this time the food did not live up to expectations. I can’t say it was bad. But it was avarage. We tried manti, eggplant with tahini, hummus, Girit ezme(cheese paste), chevice and octopus. And as desert Seker Pare. We had Raki, with really poor service for a raki seving restaurant... (Raki is not only the drink, it is an experience and a tradition) None of the dishes stood out. Seasoning was below avarage. However staff was again very friendly, this is the reason why I gave 2 stars. I hope the owners realize soon that their taste and brand is steering away from their original and unique signature.

The food, wine menu, staff and overall energy of this restaurant was a truly lovely experience. Our waitress for the evening Jana was incredibly nice, professional and made us feel very accommodated throughout the evening. Will definitely be back!

Turkish, middle eastern Mezze with warm and cold dishes. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommend the vegan Köfte - they were amazing! Really friendly staff and moderate prices. Only downside: the free bread was stale but the vegan and glutenfree bread (3€ each) was freshly baked. Definitely coming back!

Incredible. Terrific food and nice atmosphere. The waitstaff are attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend calling ahead for a table, especially if you want to sit outside.

The prices are never justified for these mini servings. Tastes ok, but you would have to order about 3 servings to get full. Price-performance definitely not available.

Food tastes delicious. The bread is a bit stingy, there were six of us and we got a pretty small basket of bread. No-go

We ordered food on deliveroo from this place, the food was good and tasted nice but we were extremely disappointed when the housse platter which cost 18,5 euro came with only two tiny skewers, a small piece of bread and tiny side of cucumber salad. At this price you would expect at least a main dish portion. Also one of the meat piece was left literally raw, seems they forgot to put that one on the grill, so that went straight to trash... a bit of a shame as the food tastes nice.

This is the first l am giving 1 star to an establishment. Portions are very small. The taste was nearly bad. Lamb skewer was full of fat instead of meat. The quality of the salad was bad which was given as a side in mixed kebap plate. Hummus was super expensive and not tasty at all. l am ok to pay more than average to a good meal but that was the worst l had in Berlin. We paid 37 euros for chicken plate, mixed kebap plate and hummus and couldn’t eat it because of the quality.

Pricey, but worth every penny.

Went there about 5 weeks ago. Food was great, but we waited over one hour between the cold and the warm food we ordered. In the end it was too late to order desert, which the waitress offered to be complimentary. Ended up paying the full bill, with no time for any desert and when I told the waitress about the long wait on our food, she only replied: „it’s not my fault when the restaurant is full and the kitchen takes so long.“ Not very helpful.. Defenitely would not go back. For an 80€ dinner for two, you’d expect a better service than that.

Great place but super packed always. Also quite pricy for the quantities you get. Expect at least 15 euro per person. We had a reservation and were asked to leave in 2 hours beforehand, due to the next reservation that would come.

Food was good, but it's loud, crowded and not cosy at all. Expect to pay around 25-30€/person if you're hungry as the portions are really small but quite expensive.
